I'm looking for a rod to pair with an Alphamar 16 that will be good for fishing the Missouri River and that's capable of landing the 100lb+ Blue Cats swimming around but also something I'll be able to notice a channel biting on. I just saw this GX2 but I'm not really sure. What are your suggestions as I'm sure that isn't my best option. But I'm also trying not to break the bank.
