Is the Custom really worth the extra $40? I'm gonna be putting an Alphamar 16 on it and fishing the Missouri River.

the tiger is probably a better blue cat rod because of the action, you can use circle hooks. the customs are a heavier rod that are great for flatheads using clickers and j hooks. if you want a rod you can fish channels with too the tiger is your better option
