Just applied at Bass Pro. Anyone heard anything good or bad about being an employee? Other than the discount?

It is a good company to work for, I was a Fishing manager at the Rossford location. Which Bass Pro did you apply too?

I applied to the Independence, MO. There's no fishing positions available but I will hopefully transfer eventually. I'll be in Hunting, Camo, or Footwear sales.

We had a couple of guys that switched departments fairly regularly, not a big deal. You will have an opportunity of meeting a lot of big names in the outdoor realm especially fishing. Through the 3 years I worked at the Rossford store we had the opportunity to meet Kevin VanDam, Hank Parker, Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston, Edwin Evers, Boyd Duckett, Gerald Swindle, Mark Zona, Pete Mania, Gary Parsons, and many other professionals in the fields of fishing and hunting.

That's awesome! I was there yesterday to get some circle hooks and some team catfish sudden impact fiber bait, and I talked to Michael Hunsucker from Heartland Bowhunter. He was doing a seminar on early season whitetails.
