I agree kip, but the scale read 50 plus. Cant argue with that. He may be a tall dude.
Sorry guys but I dont have a big enough man crush to call any of you guys while the fish is still out of the water. ;D As awesome as it would be id have to get him back in the river.

I was thinking the same thing. Not saying its not 55 but in the video it looks smaller. Either way a nice cat for sure.

looks smaller yea I didnt want to say too much about that part. hard to say how accurate those scales are around 50lbs. thats supposed to be the max. maybe they start missing around 48ish labs
fish was released and lived though but handling was obviously not ideal, again atleast its not dead

My 50 Lb Scales Exactly Like That Bottom Out At 53.50 Then They Say OL. Mine Are Accurate At 49.70 With A Certified 50Lb Test Weight. Good Fish Though. Its Hard To Weigh A Fish While They Are Unstable.
