I like the specs on the spirit rods. are the eyes as solid as the catfight. the only other diff. is the number of eyes, the reel seat, and tne tip color. It saysheavy action is it the same. and thecork butt length. I think I might get me acouple of them. I love my catfights I have but the tip is just a little to solid for the type of drifting I do. linklink

I have a couple of the Night stick pro 7'6'I like them really well Ive had 3 yrs now and not a problem with them

The spinning rod has all stainless eyes. Good tip comparable to catfight rods. Still might be a little stiff for what your looking for Scott.

You need to find the original catfight one rods. Tip was quite a bit softer than the newer generation catfights.

sorry dude i thought you were looking at the casting rods. the night stick pro series. they have the inserts
