Hey Ducky did you have a lot of black ducks this year. I mean obviously I dont know where you hunt but I assume we are hunting in the same general region. we had a pile of them this year. first light damn near everyday we killed black ducks and had them dropping into the decoys all season.never seen them that heavy before.

Yes tons. best duck year i have ever had. we got new birds every week. Not as many pintail this year. but way more blacks and redheads. ill post some pics when i have time. Band recovery was great this year also. we got 2 duck bands and 15 honker bands this year.

Yea man we had one of our best years this year too. We only saw 1 pintail, came in circled the decoys and just kept cruising. we had mainly mallards but they were flying real good all year. we got divers and hoodies on the big water. really good year all around. we only had wood ducks for like 2 weeks then they were completely gone from our spots

dang nice work on bands too. I didnt get a single banded bird this year. the guys i hunt with got a few but not real sure how many. i know it wasnt a very high number though. my buddies brother got a monster black duck though. was like the size of a small goose.
