Saturday morning i was in the turkey woods. Called 5 jakes in and gave one a dirt nap. I then had to go to work. I got off at 6 and the wife and i rushed to the lake. shortly after i got a 50lb flat. it was mandys turn next. hers was 47. what a day. i found these fish in the middle of the lake on a small flat. boat was the only way to fish for them. On the bright side the saugeye was there also so we was catching saugeye while waiting for the flats to move up. we also ended up with 9 keeper saugeye.   |
