I am from the wheeling area, Moundsville specifically and I was just wondering if any of you guys are from around here. I do a lot of fishing on the ohio river and may have ran into one of you before. Also, about what size weight keeps you stable in the ohio? Lately I've been throwing 4 ounce and they're still not enough to stay anchored on the bottom!

Not from the area Morgan. But I use a lot more weight in rivers that are a lot less. Weight size depends alot on bait size. I like to use large live baits. Don't be afraid to go big on weights. I use up to 10oz. quite often. My suggestion is to order a couple of each 6, 8, and 10 and just try them all. The alphamar can cast most of these fairly trouble free. And if your going with stout rod like the tiger stick, it will make casting these bigger weights all the more enjoyable.
