I like fishing periods of spring highwater. But, how many are sick of the rain already? Highwater here is def. that HIGH ! Some of my favorite highwater bank spots have not even been accessible yet! Now its getting cold again. Bring on warm temps. and some half-way stabile weather patterns that atleast gives us a chance to fish LOL!! rollo

i hear ya rollo, this is the longest i've gone without fishin' in a long time and i think it's affecting my state of mind.......looking forward to having a couple weeks off here in a week or so....
I don't care if it's just going to dillon to catch channelcats or getting out and catching bait..........might have to make a trip down south for a few days.....

I'd much rather fish high water than fish in cold weather. For the past week I kept telling myself I'll hit the river when the water falls a little. This week I tell myself I'll hit the river when it warms up a little. I'll probably find a lake and fish for a few hours in the middle of the day when its 40 degrees or so.
