Dip Bait

Went to the Missouri yesterday and took some dip bait and sit on the bank next to some slack water. Was using Junnies Blood bait. 1 cast and it was off the hook. Using treble hooks with some sponge on it.  What does everyone do to keep dip bait on the hook. They advertise extra fiber to keep it on but it doesn't stay on. Is there any that does?

I have had good luck with sudden impact staying on with just a treble hooks . had best luck with sonny's supper sticky and doc's dip worms as far as catching fish day in day out And it stays on great
