Looks like a channel cat to me? That would be a record if it was a bullhead. We get channels that color from the river.

The tail don't look like a channel though? Did you catch this fish?

Definitly channel. very old and beat up. Probably in 14 to 16lb range. maybe a little bigger. Pics can be decieving. Nice fat belly. Looks like he was caught out of a brush pile.

Tails are usually more forked. but the browner the color the straighter the tail usualy is.  |
