Welcome to the site Bob. Creek Chubs have been a favorite bait of mine for many years for multiple species. Channels, Flatheads, and even Largemouth and Smallmouth bass... rollo

Rollo I have also had luck with creek chubs for bass. If you take a couple dozen creek chubs to a farm pond, your likely to clean it out. I started using creek chubs in ponds for channel cats, but I found myself catching largemouth instead. Largemouth are tricky though, a one pounder can swallow a 8'' chub no problem so try using huge chubs for those 3+ pounders.

I catch Crappie, laremouth and smallmouth bass channel and flathead and even carp. My dad caught his 38 pound flathead off about a f5 inch creek chub.
