What makes me proud to be a catfisherman is when I release them fish back in the water to fight another day. I also love seeing young kids catching fish and watching my kids fish. It is a great lesson to pass on to em.

Very Nice Robbie! Pretty cool stuff, and shows your passion towards the sport. I also agree Kip, nothing like watching the big fish swim off after a good fight, or seeing anothers joy when they catch a big fish! I get as much satisfaction out of seeing someone else getting to experience such a fight, as I do catching myself! It isn't about who catches what, its about catching and sharing memories with friends in my opinion... rollo

Now that you mention that, It reminds me of a trip for blues on the Ohio River. We had lines out the back of the boat and Dave thought it was cute that my wife was all over each bite. The middle of the second day it slowed a while and Dave and my wife were chatting. A rod bobbed and I stood up behind it and my wife said "You aren't going to get that are you? That's my favorite rod" Dave just said "Her favorite rod is any rod that gets a bite" ;D She realizes that I allow my guests to catch the first bites but insists hers is the next one

Thats awesome your wife loves to fish Robby! Was it years of setting alone at the house by herself that changed her mind or was she into it from the start? I notice the mods on the toon also. Mamma accomadating.

Totally agree Robbie.. LOL.. It usually goes like this if we are not fishing our own poles, but just a set of rods as a group... Yall have to take turns on the first take downs.. I stand back as well.. But,, if ya miss 3 or 4 times in a row... Well.. Thats when I move alittle closer in...LOL ;D rollo
