Hi everyone my question it's how to recite a fishing rod to make look like a new I something like that's but a same time cheap way to DIY some recommendations we appreciate any advice to do this

Are you taking it all the way down. Like stripping the coating and paint off, removing the eyes and handle. Down to bare blank or just a repainting

If you are just putting new finish on it. A precat urethane works great. Mudhole.com carries that and a whole line of rod building and reworking materials. As far as handle if it were me I would para wrap them really spruces them up. I have done a few. I don't have a whole lot of experience with mudholes liquids. I work for a company that makes and sells industrial coatings so I just use our stuff. But I do know they come highly recommended across the rod building community

I'm thinking only to put new layer of coats and replace the reel seat let me check mudhole.com and thks for the replied
