Stumbled upon this bunch of freaks. Don't look like there's many of you, but y'all are definitely my kind. Sit in dark all night for one bite kinda guys. If y'all don't mind I'd like to hang round a bit.

All most all of my fishing is in shallow central Texas rivers. Still chasing the over 40 flathead. I really think he broke me off the other night. Picture in my avatar is last Thursday on the Colorado river.
I might as well tell you up front I also raise catfish in my tanks (Texan for ponds) I won't do it again but I'm going show a 4 year old hybrid bluecat.


Ok. Wild fish only from now on. Y'all got my word. Really looking forward to sharing knowledge with some true freaks.

I am from Texas so I might brag from time to time.

Welcome Fence!! Those are a couple dandy cats for sure... when my youngest son isn't in Afganistan he calls Fort Hood home... Good fishing to you, look forward to your catches and bragging them up.

I'm about 25 miles south west of fort hood. There's some big fish in cowhouse creek just above lake Belton. Especially if you know someone who can get access to the areas that go through the artillery range.
Lots of good fishing within a sort distance of ft hood. Behind Belton dam is very good for blues right now
