56.6 pounds photographed and released. 6 inch bluegill on 8/0 gama octopus circle. 100 pound braid. 50 pound florocarbon leader. 3/way rig. Colorado river above lake Buchanan. Caught in my favorite place to start on any river. I find where the river meets the lake pool. ( current goes slack) then move back up river to first good structure in the current. In this case a gravel bar cut the river in half. Causing a stronger flow. It seems big fish love to feed in these places at night.

fence, congrats thats a nice one, I have fished the colorado at Matagorda (salt) and above at marfalls for cats butcaught nothing in that range. looking at yours may have to come that way this winter after deer season for a week or 2 .
