Hello catfish freaks! I currently have an Alumacraft 1448 with a 5hp Mercury. It does fine but I'm not breaking any speed records. I decided to upgrade the motor and I found a 2005 Yamaha 15hp 4 stroke for $700. It's been in storage since 2008. I know the guy and I'm sure he's being honest about it. I was hoping for some opinions about whether or not y'all think it's a good deal, things I should look for before buying, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.

Pull the chord, check for compression. pop the top and take a look at the wires closely, the rest is fixable.
