The state of Kentucky is having a Catfish Regulations meeting on August 17th (Friday) morning at 8am at 100 Airport Rd Frankfort, KY. If you are tired of seeing trophy catfish from the Ohio River (and other bodies of water) end up in paylakes, now is the time. Please attend if you can!!!

Wish I could attend but need to be somewhere else at that time. I hope there is a good turn out.

It’s been a problem for years and the only thing that will ever stop it is education. As long as people are willing to pay someone to fish in a stocked pond, it will continue. Part of the problem IMHO is addiction, it’s like gambling for some. I used to live near a paylake and it’s funny to see people put all the time and effort into livewells, catching bait, big surf rods etc. and go fish in a pond.
