Any suggestions on a good digital scale? mine crapped out last year and I am already tired of toting a spring scale around

the tec scales are hard to come by berkley quit making them, you can order them from england but will probably get rapped in price and shipping.

I use The Berkley Tec 100 too and love it.It,s got a nice grip for a 2 handed grip and a really nice backlight for night use and photos. You can still find sellers here in the US on E-bay that still have the Tec 100,s.I paid $75 for mine with free shipping-got lucky.I think they're worth every penny!

I use a Berkley 50 pound digital scale as a primary scale. However in the hopes of landing a fish over 55 (the number the digital scale reads error) I have a bass pro shops 100lb spring scale. I paid 20 dollars for it, and I hope to break it in within the next few years.

I have a 100 pound set of springs as well, works fine. I do want to invest in some good digitals soon. Don't buy 50 pound spring scales unless you want them destroyed! ;D rollo
