Anyone use catmaxx baitcasters or spinning reels from bass pro? Like the prices I see on them but new to catfishing so don’t know much else about the gear

![]() I have some and like them and the price. Check out Steve Douglas The Catfish Dude on YouTube and that is what he uses and catches monster cats on them. |

I’m a buy once, cry once, kinda guy. Abu Garcia 6500 C3s or any variation that is made in Sweden will last a lifetime and then some. I have some that have been used and abused for 30 years and are still going strong.
