My Alphamar is here,it's awesome. I spooled it with High Seas Quatro put sinker on it and went out in the yard and tried a couple casts it's smooth as silk can't wait to hook into a big flattie. BigDave is awesome, if you want to get a great deal and great service check out BottomDwellers. ;D

Congrats on the new reel. I'm also patiently waiting to break in some new tackle. The weather seems to be cooperating so you might be able to break her in soon. Sunday I think its supposed to be 84 degrees and sunny here. Good luck.
