cabela's has quantum muskie casting rods for sale 7'6 medium power 20-50 line, 2-6oz lure weight 1 piece, anybody use these rods or think they're suitable for flats.

The Quantum Alliance Rods are GREAT flathead rods. Ive got 2 of the 7ft 6in rods. one with a Shimano triton 100 and the other with a Penn 9. runnin 25lb big game on both of them.

Chris, I think the Muskie rods would do the trick! Alot of guys use them for cats, Whats the price on these rods?

Dang that sounds like a deal. I hate ordering blind on things I'm not familiar with. Maybe the store will actually have some in stock if I make a trip down.
