I am like most of you........i wanna fish with someone that has a good sense of humor and that i can talk to for hours without getting bored with the conversation. One thing that really ticks me off is going fishing with someone who is on their damn cell phone all night texting or calling their woman. I also like to know when i go that the person i am going with is not on some kind of time limit ...............ha ha...........i dont wanna hear the ""hey my ole lady is griping i am gonna head home"" excuse an hour after i get my rods in the water !! with the cost of gas i wanna fish as long as i can !!! I agree with you guys nothing annoys me more then a partner who never brings any bait or never helps gather bait, and always SEEMS to forget all of their terminal tackle .....ha ha !!! I also want a partner that i can share spots with that will share spots with me in return...........i also dont want them taking their other fishing buddies to my spots !!!
All in all though i will fish with anyone... if they ask.........i love fishing...........i love teaching people what i can and i love learning whatever i can from the people that i fish with !!!!

I have a good response to that one. "It's a long walk home so you better get to walking. I'll drop your stuff off in the morning." When me and my girlfriend started fishing together she wouldn't tell her parents that we were fishing all night, so she would get calls from her parents telling her that if she didn't get home she was going to be grounded. I used the statement above several times, it usually shuts them up. LMAO! That brings back old memories with a girlfriend in HS I made her walk in the dark one night to go fishing.. I was nice enough to bring a lantern so she wouldn't be too scared. She wiped out and busted it on the travel in! I was carrying the bait buckets which I thought was my duty . But... made her carry the poles ... She didn't marry me in case you all wondered ! rollo One nite my gf and i was fishing last year, when we was done i told her to stay and hold onto the boat while i get the truck and trailer, there was no lights at this boat ramp and she got scared, she ran up to the truck and jumped in i said what did ya do with the boat she said she pulled it up on the bank, I said ok, when i got to the ramp there was no boat to be found, i turned my coon light on and it drifted out 30 yds into the lake, i striped down and swam to retreive the boat, not a happy camper but you gotta love em! i guess she made up for it catching the only flathead that nite.

I guess thats one way to look at it. I would have been really upset; she caught my fish, and made me swim to get my boat. ;D It's always something new.

what I would look for in a fishing partner: IN ORDER BY IMPORTANCE 1.) Must agree on fishing ethics. (Catch and Release, etc.) 2.) Must have a good sense of humor. 3.) Must be a good photographer and net man. 4.) Must share the passion I have for fishing. Furthers their knowledge of fishing outside of time on the water. 5.) Must be able to put in long hours. 6.) Must be willing to fish all weather conditions
This also sum's it up for me also i have found 2 guy's i tryst with my life if it came down to it and you 2 know who you are there my best friend's and not just for fishing if ya need something and they can help they will at the drop of a dime or if ya need to talk to them at 3am and they get up at 4am to go to work they answer the phone best bunch of guy's anyone could ask to know, I would like to meet a few more people to fish with this year and make some more friend's and fishing partner's. KIP.......I look forward to fishing with ya next weekend think were gonna have a good time just hope ya don't like to Fall asleep like some people i fish with lmao I'm picking on Dave lol Hope we can fish more together after this trip and ya can show me the River Game and teach me ?.........Sniper
