There are now snake head in the muskium river if you catch this fish chop its head off it is very very invasive and will killl of all the other native fish except flat heads not they have no predators except us and flats and turtles. There is a picture above that compares them to a bowfin because they do look alike Attachments:

I still don't think its a snakehead. Its snout is short like a bowfin. Who knows I might be wrong but that don't happen very often. Lol

Why would the odnr have released the snakehead back to the person who caught it ? would you think they would take it and do test on it and some stuff to find out how or where it got into the river at? I'm not saying that this person did not take it to odnr just wondering why they didnt do something with it to learn more? I hope to god we can stop there thing's before they become like the silver carp in the Illinois river and take all over holly hell ........We need to KILL ever 1 we catch see or can get our hand's on this could really hurt us all if it get's outta hand

in florida i the spotted snakehead(i think) has irradicated a few native species..
