I have been looking to buy a good net for catfishing and wondered what kind of nets you all use. Im looking for something huge and built to last! Thanks....Smooth

I had a frabill for about 4 years and i broke the hoop on it last year. I baught a Ranger from Dicks it was like $40 and it has a lifetime warranty. It seems to be really sturdy but I havent been able to test it out yet!

I use the Frabil Big Game (I think) its not the largest they offer. Their biggest is called the Big Kahuna. I caught mine on sale for $80 plus free shipping from Gander MTN a couple years ago. The shipping on nets can get pricey depending on where you order from.

I use the frabill biggame too.Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin .I got mine when the local sportsmans warehouse was goin out of business.Marked em down from $80 to $35.

Nice things about landing nets, if you dont bend up the structure, you can repair holes like I do with simple nylon trotline or buy replacement netting as well thats fairly cheap compared to buying a new net every few years!....rollo

This will break your 5' Frabill castnet. Please do not attempt this feat, my back still hurts today. LOL ;D Are there landing nets stronger? Attachments:

Damn thats a good mess of shad! that much shad would last me the whole year lol. I got over a school like that last year and got about 75-100 in one cast of the net. Lasted me the whole year!
