I have been letting it dictate when and where I fish lately, but I'm tired of waiting on the rain to stop. One more final exam Thursday and I go on fishing vacation for a week. I can't wait.

Well, to put it mildly...we have no boat ramps that are accessable, there are allot of new bank fishing spots (too many to count), bunches of debris and, the fish are scattered to the far ends of the spectrum, LOL!!! So, yes, this changes things allot, LOL!!!

We modify where we can fish in the high water.
Some lakes drop faster than others and we have to check which ones are enough in banks to launch boats.
Fish always seem to scatter into flooded areas where the food is easy.
I have fished when it rained hard enough to fill my boat 3 times in a night(I pumped water out) but once the waterways leave their banks you have to change plans.
Of course fish feed less when water is dropping and my water will be dropping for a month or more.

im sick of the rain ..knox lake is staying pretty good but the river is up and hard to catch bait for me since i dont have a cast net or umbrella net for the spill way but i can still catch little gills and keep trying them catching some channels and carps but nothing big yet
