Still out looking for good flathead. Hot and
humid last night with lots of bugs thrown in.
Fished alone so I just snapped a pic of this little guy
on the deck.
Video is shaky but I don't practice video with one hand and
release with the other hand much.
I still haven't got into the males crowding into the bays
to look for spawn sites and females yet. Water seems
warm enough but something is holding the flathead back.
I only got small gills for bait and I think many died in the
warm water through the night. I may have to go get a
few gold fish to mix in with gills.
