One fish to short!

Me and Fatcat hit the tourney at Seneca Saturday night.. we caught around 40 channelcats and had our limit of fish within the first hour and a half so we thought. Lol. We ended up having only one battery and we needed it to run the trolling motor instead of the livewell. We put our fish in the cat bag. We were culling fish thinking we had 6. Come weight in time we hooked the battery back upto livewell and pulled the fish out of the catbag and there were only 5. It was a sick feeling knowing we threw away number 6 many times. The worst part of the story is that we missed out on 3rd place and the money buy 1# 6oz. Id hate to know how many 2 to 3 pounders we threw back. I guess we learned the hard way! Lol.

Man when i called you and you told me that story on the phone i must admit i was smiling a bit knowing i'm not the only one who has done that before lol It's a crappy feeling i know and to loose the $ by 1.6lbs sucks big time. Look's like you should have taken Shelby Cat to help ya catch that last fish at the last min and save the day and to keep count lol picking on ya guy's you'll get em next time

I also ended up with 5 fish in that tourny also due to a 5 lb'er that died in the tank because of warm water an no ice.

Yeah we were drifting most of the night Brock, and yeah John that's a shame about your big one also. You would have been in the money also!
