so whats your guys weirdest things caught in a cast net? Heres what i caught in early may.  by far the weirdest, he must of flew right in when i was throwing the net, when i pulled it out of the water i see a bunch of shad and a very pi$$ed off bat. |

No way Kip...I caught a bicycle last August down on the muskingum....when did u catch urs? I thought for sure Ide of been the only one to catch a bike! Lmao ill have to go find the pictures later

Similar to the bat experience I once netted a monarch butterfly mid air with a castnet. He sunk with the net and was under water for well over 10 seconds. It flew off when I emptied the shad into the bucket. I thought for sure he was dead.
A bicycle......thats crazy. How did you not break your net?

No way Kip...I caught a bicycle last August down on the muskingum....when did u catch urs? I thought for sure Ide of been the only one to catch a bike! Lmao ill have to go find the pictures later LOL! Me and a old partner of mine caught it down at spot X on the Muskingum! LOL! |

I hit and killed a bat with my sinker 1 eve. as it was getting dark while casting for channel's . Got a clam 1 time in a castnet it was alive.

Caught my first goldfish in a castnet today while getting shad from dillon lake spillway. Someone must have lost their bait, I was glad to have found it for them. ;D

dont use a cast net much here but in the gill net ive caught some stuff like a 50 dollar bill,and few hats
