Everyone post tips for home livewells here! For keepin your baits alive until you get a chance to get on the water, water conditioning, what kinda tank/aeration you use.....etc ;D
My first thing is that when I go catch bait for the home livewell I will leave em in the bait bucket or modified cooler as long as possible so if they need to regirgitate anything or take a crap they can get some of it out before I stick em in the livewell
Hope this helps and share some thoughts or tips!

Right now I just use a large cooler with two small aerators, and I use a fish saver pump that I will put on for about an hour or so as soon as I put the bait in. Then I will turn it on various times that I see the water getting dirty. The thing that sucks here is that I cant use any town water on my bait, it kills them within seconds, so I have to go to the creek and get buckets of water every couple days. But I can keep bait alive for several weeks with this set up.
I am in the process of making my old HUGE deep freezer a bait tank. I could fit 100's of baits in it, just have to take the time to get it set up. Once I get it set up Ill take some pics.

I use a 330 gallon tote for a bait tank it has a drain in the bottom so I got a swimming pool pump & filter with a homemade spray bar it keeps bait great every couple weeks I will drain about half of the water out and refill I have a well so the water is good have one of those agitator type areators also but dont use it cause the pool pump works great may only lose 5-6 baits all summer

Check craislist I found a 75 gallon fish tank and stand for $50 just bought a pump and screen for the top. The tank allows you o moniter the bait health to get the ones the About to die out...also lets me pick what ones i want to take... Over the winter i usyally keep a few to faten them up In the colder months i put a heater in to keep it warmer since its in the garage The 75g tank is 48"L x 18"W x 21"T A 40 or 55 g would work great too
