Sat night party

Chad and I were joined by Richard, Travis, Rob Nash
and Woodie the wonder dog Sat night for a flathead
party.
I got out a little early to catch bait and got the
ball started with a channel cat and a small flathead.
Around 10 in the evening I landed a 27. Later a flathead
grabbed my bait and we landed it.It had also picked
up Chads bait so we shared that fish (33).

After that one of Travis rods went off and had a good
run be we got a swing and a miss on that.

At about 5 in the morning Richards rod went off and he
landed a 37. I thought I was going to get wet landing it but was able to reach.



Woodie had a good time with plenty of petting, a few snacks, and some fish licking.



We are hoping the flathead keep biting and the size
picks up a bit.

Woodie the wonder dog is a veteran of many flathead trips.

He had fun after being on baby patrol for a while
and although he got a few snacks he was unable
to get a bite of Chads cherry pie this morning.

Woodie licks the flathead after we land them
but is more enthusiastic about bigger flathead.

Bout time you caught some fish robby! and Woody probably didnt remember what flathead looked like! lol...Im starting to forget what they look like! its been 3wks since I caught one and it was only 15lbs 4oz

As always we released the cats to fight again.



When last seen they appeared healthy and ready to fight again.
