Ever Feed a Fox?

Fishing allows me to spend alot of time outdoors, and I get to have experiences that others miss out on. This year we have seen 2 bald eagles (tried to take pics but they didn't turn out), a few raccoon, countless beaver, dozens of deer, and even a fox. Earlier this year we were fishing a bank spot on a local lake when we had the chance to feed a fox. We didn't notice him until we heard something messing around in our shad bucket. I live in the hills of southern Ohio so you would think seeing fox would be a common occurrence, but its not. Including this fox, I have seen about a half a dozen, my entire life. Amanda ended up tossing some shad up the bank to it, and it eventually got within the cameras flash range. Here's a few pics.







Any one else encounter any interesting wildlife while fishing?

Found another cool picture. This ones from last year. This thing is called a bryozoan, its a form of algae that congregates on submerged limbs, docks, etc. They are a sign of a healthy ecosystem. We didn't know what it was a the time, so we cut it open in curiosity. It was really weird, kinda like jello but a little firmer. Anyway here's a few pics.

I've often wondered what that stuff was. We have some of that stuff in knox as well it looks like something from a horror movie lol, the fox is pretty cool as well we had a grey one year messing around us. Its nice to get out like that and take it all in when you see stuff like that cause you never know when it will be all gone thanks for the pics

Them fox pics are cool. I've never had a fox come up on me like that.
