Anyone found any android applications useable to catfishing? Figured I would share the few I found...GPS essentials is essentially a GPS waypoint application...so you can mark fishing spots or brushpiles or creekchannels for future reference.... also found OH fishing...it's got most lakes rivers and streams with some very basic info and maps but nothing not easily found on Google...think it cost me two bucks and the GPS application was free...there's also a proboards application that was like two bucks but seemed to make catfreaks harder to run than the actual website...anyone find anything else useable? For as many people as their are in our sport I figured there to be more apps out there.

BassMassey showed me a app from Navonics. It's like 9 bucks but is pretty sweet. Shows contour lines, holes Etc. It's def. Worth having. It's a satellite gps

While it kills my battery I have My Tracks which is more for running/jogging/biking but you can follow the line where youve been and your top speed elevation and that stuff. Its a good app except it kills the battery IMO.

I heard that the navonics app was a subscription app, meaning you had to buy it over and over again every time it upgrades. Is that true? I would really like to buy it, but I don't wanna pay ten bucks every two months.

I paid a one time $14.99 .......no subscription.........it does take a long time to download......it goes a lil faster if you hook your phone up to a wifi signal though and don't use the 3G....it took about 5 hours on the wifi

Nope, I have a droid pro cell phone and my android market keeps telling me to enter my gmail password in order to confirm a purchase. Every time I enter my password they tell me its wrong, I then turn around and use that same password to check my email. So i don't know whats going on. I checked on line and other people are having the same problem. For now I can only download free apps.
The phones 3 months old, I hope I don't have to get a new one.
