Fish Ohio Blue Cat

Just submitted my fish Ohio trophies for the year and I just found out that they are now accepting blue catfish as trophy catches. A minimum length of 35" (same as the flathead) is required for a fish Ohio blue cat trophy. (25lber should be about 35") Just figured I'd share that with everyone.

It gives us a goal to shoot for every year. And helps break up those long stretches without bites when were catfishing. We aim for master angler status, which is catching 4 trophies of different species each year. So far we have made it 2 years in a row....even Amanda made master angler status this year.

Congrats to you both bro. I have also never tried to submit any catches for Fish Ohio certificate. That is pretty neat though, and gives you something to shoot for each year especially if you are a multi-species angler. rollo
