I started using these sinker slides this summer and so far i have been inpressed. I have seen on multiple occassions other peoples lesser made sinker slides falling apart and having the braid cut right through the slide itself. Not these babies! they are heavy duty and i have yet to have one break ot cut through. i have had them hung up and put them off of some nasty snags so they are pretty tough and Dave sells them at an affordable price. Pros - work well and are designed heavy duty for the type of fishing we do, very conveinent becuase you dont have to cut and retie a rig if you want to change the amount of weight you are throwing, you can just change it out. Is very versitile as you can create many types of rigs using these and they dont frey your braid up as well. cons- the only con i have found that becuase they hang down off the line they tend to hang up on rocks when reeling in, slighlty more than in line sinkers like regular no rolls but any sinker slide will do this, they are much less of a problem or no problem at all if you are fishing from a boat. All in all a great product sold by a great guy at a great price i highly recomend them, i have plenty so if you ever want to try them out ask me and i can give ya a couple to try out to see for yourself.

I too started using big Daves sinker slides this year. I have used them atleast 2 days a week for the past 6 months. To date I have never broke one or had any problems. I even wore the black finish off a few of them. Like Joey mentioned, they make switching out sinkers possible without re-tying...but they are also made wide enough to support huge amounts of led without damaging your line. In essence, it disperses the weight of a sinker over its quarter inch slide rather than a brass eyelit that most pyramid sinkers, casting sinkers, etc have. My favorite part about the sinker slides is that when w bank fishing I can go ahead and tie my rigs to my poles using sinker slides and leave the sinkers off until I get to the water. So all of the banging around and knicking my rods that my weights usually do when walking with them, is no longer necessary. A great product.
Thanks for the review Joey.

I use these sinker slides too and they are by far the best out there. From still fishing to drifting big rivers they just work.

They can't be beat! I used to use the cheap black ones I got off eBay. I went through so many by just cutting through the line while casting heavy weight. With the Bottom Dwellers slides I've actually hung my sinker up a few times and bent the clips out with the slide still intact. I'd never use anything else after using these. A great price too.
