As many of you know i recently thought i got the deal of a lifetime when i found a 100lb Berkley tec scale in the bargain cave at the Cabelas in WV. I got it for 79$ and i was riding high but i soon found out why it was in the bargain cave, it would not work at the worst moments just kinda had a mind of it's own and finally stoppped working all together. Berkley does not make these scales anymore and they are very hard to find and when you do are kinda pricey, so i called berkley (pure fishing) returns department and explained what was going on and they told me to send it to them and they would see what they could do, either fix it or replace it with something close or similar. I sent it out last week and got a call today telling me that since they can not fix it and do not have them anymore, they they could send me a 50lb scale and i could get 94$ worth of merchandise from pure fishing and they would send it out to me. I thought this was pretty cool considering i did not even provide a sales receipt or anything. Pretty cool to see some good customer service just wish they still made the 100lb tec scales lol
