I'm looking for a boat small enough for two people to carry long distances. Were going to try to hit some new water next year and the section of river were looking at has lots of shallow riffles. Don't plan on fishing out of it, more or less need it for transportation. Wouldn't mind a canoe or john boat in the 10 to 12 foot range. I would consider less. Don't need a motor or trailer, just boat. If anyone has one they wanna sell or knows where I can get one please let me know.

Check around on craigslist should be some good deals this time of year. Personally I think a canoe would be much easier to carry. Allot easyier to drag or roll it with bicycle wheels ex specially through any woods or terrain.

Thanks guys. I have been actively watching the cincinatti craigs list for a while, but most jon boats were outrageous. That is a good deal kip, i'll have to check it out.

Im with kip....I wish. We have a boat that we fish out of already, just looking for something to get us into those hard to reach spots. I'd like to see it though. We will be looking to upgrade our boat about mid summer, new or used.
