Not that many folks from this site are close enough for this event I am putting on but thought I would post it just the same.

Catfish University is an all inclusive course that will make anyone at any level of channel catfishing better. It starts out at the beginning with gear selection and setup then moves onto seasonal patterns, anchoring, ending up at location and channel catfish behavior. A lot of time will be spent on finding the changes in water and other environmental factors to quickly make the needed adjustments to stay on big fish.

Thanks for the invite Brad. I'm sure it will be one awesome seminar to attend. Just alittle too far drive. Thats a great idea on the dvd! We need more stuff like that in the sport of catfishing for sure! rollo

I did have video shot 2 years ago but never did anything with it. I have to say if I was going to put it on DVD I think I would use a closed studio so I could have the slides a cut away video and omit the crowd moving and the questions during. I know some people who could help me make that happen. Something to consider.

That would be a great idea not only for your book and guide service but for the channelcat fisherman around the united states. It's something I would buy.

I'd consider buying it as well. I have nearly every in-fisherman dvd. I buy them for 20 bucks and almost half of the dvd's are repeating video from past dvds. I still buy them hoping to learn something new.

I almost have the finishing touches done to the seminars. I have a couple graphs to build and a couple videos to grab clips from and it is done. Some pretty cool stuff here if I do say so. I just now have to hope I can get the point across without confusing people.

I'm excited to share a small bit of my research with someone other than the cat.

Glad to hear you got things in order. Just curious Brad, how many clients you get a year and how many days do you get to just relax and fish yourself?

I prefer not to reveal the trip numbers in a public forum but I will tell you business doesn't suck. I take one long family weekend per month. Sometimes I get to walleye fish a few hours on those weekends when we are at our lake place. I catfish locally 3 or 4 times per year (usually 2-4 hours per time) and I take one 4 day trip to the Canadian side of the Red every July to fish cats with my friends.
