that's pretty cool kip...........those lil flatheads are sweet looking with all that black molted look..........I've caught a couple when i lived on lake oconee fishing for bream.......makes ya wonder if that is from this years spawn or last years? I know i've read about the growth rate before but can't remember of the top of my head......

You must have a different model then I have ever seen then.......I've owned two and have put my hands on more then a few and I've never seen a stout one. All the ones I've seen have a very limber tip, yet have plenty of backbone to get a good one in. True they are short which kinda make them not so good off the bank.......especially since I like to throw to the other side of the river........I like them for fishin off the boat though.....

catmaxx are fine rods..........they seemed to have fixed the eye insert problem on the newer ones.....i've owned a bunch of them, but I got them for $20 apiece.......$60 is a lil high.......
Sean, tigerstiks are a fine rod for using circle hooks...........try it out...

i've owned 5 catmaxx rods and they're good rods too.....but for the retail price of them there are better rods on the market.......the newer ones are alot better then the old ones too...........the old ones had a bad problem of the eye inserts popping out........but for $24 the powerplus is a good deal, and hard to beat in that retail price range.....

sniper your question is kinda vague without knowing forsure where your talkin about or lookin at a topographic map..........but from my experience the best way to tell if a bank spot is good is to fish it throw out a spread of baits that you're confident in and let em soak........fish it a night or two. Try it in the summer, try it in the fall....I've had a particulaur bank spot on the lake i used to live on that was dynomite in the early spring into may then the rest of the year you couldn't buy a bite during summer and into fall...
