any good fishin' porn pics to put on your wall joey?? lol
j/k........most catfish books/ magazines seem really redundant to me anyway...........every now and then you can find a cool article about a certain body of water you may be interested though.....i had a subscription to catfish gold few years back until they went out of business....still got every issue, full of ads and repeat information, and some good catfish porn pics............they did always have a luke clayton article that was usually pretty good though.....

it's all relative to where you're fishin that determines whether strict catch and release prmotes a trophy fishery or not. Alot of places selective harvest.....keepin a bunch of 10lberish fish can help sustain a trophy fishery..I agree on not keeping any bigguns anywhere.........10lb bluecats make real good nuggets.....

i strongly encourage and recommend this program......especially for lake fishermen.............although, I will put it to good use on the river as well...........let's put it this way, i don't know the muskingum hardly at all, yet.....i've always bank fished it........this app will help me on the river a whole lot........first few times out I am gonna have to get out early and do some scoutin............use my phone to mark way points for spots i want to anchor during the night.........mark a track for safe navigation at night until I know the river well enough to run without it......or any body of water i fish for that matter.........just using an example

I just purchased the navionics gps/lake map app for my phone last night. It is exactly the same program that you can get on your higher end sonars. I've been looking into getting a lowrance hds5 unit until now, this cell phone app is awesome. Shows better countour then the actual fold out lake map, mark tracks, waypoints, anything you can do on your high dollar sonar unit! I haven't had the chance to take it out on the lake yet but I've been fooling with it all day looking at different bodies of water. It's like learning a lake before putting the boat in the water. I just wanted to share this with ya'll and hope you guys can take advantage of this app..........it's only $14.......

I have a powerplus surf spinning rod........for $25 it's a real good rod..........pretty stout and can throw a big bait......I know when I was looking at them in the store they didn't have any long casting rods........I know for me it's hard to buy a rod without holding it first.........but my 10' spinning rod is well worth the money.......

found this interesting study that shows high water promoting a very successfull spawn year in this particulaur river. Now this is just one river with a non native population at that. I've seen similiar studies on bream/ panfish that say the same thing. student.uncw.edu/srm8757/catfish.pdf
