There are also different ways that people tie snell knots. I tried to learn Robby's snell but couldnt figure it out so I stayed with my palomar. I do use a different variation of the snell on crawler harnesses though.

if you dont mind to spend the money you should really check out Grandt Rods. I use their All American Pro Series DR70C. Its a Heavy Action 7ft Casting rod. they do make them in 7ft 6in and 8ft as well. they have stainless guides, and the blanks are an Eglass/ Kevlar mix. they are practicly indestructable! These rods run about 165-185 bucks a piece which i know is pretty expensive. BUT, they also have a unconditional lifetime warranty. There is no other rod out there that has that kind of warranty. These rods are also all hand made in Illinois. Check em out! www.grandtrods.com

I use nothing but palomar. I used to use the trilene knot, and it would always slip on me.

There is going to be a little bit of everything there. There should be plenty of catfishing stuff there. I am not allowing guns, BUT. You can bring the gun with you and keep it in your vehicle and if someone wishes to do the trade you can do it outside the building.

I like to get out to the lakes and fish for saugeye and crappie. It also helps me to find different catfishing spot as well.

They all have state record flatheads in them, Even Atwood. I like Salt Fork, Seneca, tappan, and Clendening the most. But I want to try Piedmont and Atwood this year for flatheads.

my goal is to get out and fish more. I really want that 50lb Flat, and I know I can get one if I put in the time. It might not be this year or the next 5 years but eventually it will come. If I get out and fish more than I did last year that will be an achievement in itself. I want to bust 3olbs on the tusc river, my pb from the tusc thus far is 27lb, but I know there are larger ones in there. Another goal is to fish the Cabelas King kat at gallipolis and catch some good blues, I just need a partner with a big enough boat

Same here Brock. especially in the MWCD lakes. Alot of bass guys already kill alot of the saugeyes they catch and not to eat either.

thats not a bad deal man, but I dont need anything more than 8ft. I picked up a American Spirit rod yesterday with a Abu 6000 TGC on it, but its a 9fter and I just dont like it. its really whippy.
