Back in september I went out fishing with a buddy after work. We went to a launch ramp.we sat there for three hours without a single bite. Sitting in my chair when I got a nibble. I grabbed the pole and held it. I sat there for about five minutes.nothing.I set the pole back down. I seen the pole take a bat out of hell.I jumped up and took off into what my buddy called the perfect swan dive.work boots and all into fifteen foot of water. I caught the pole just a it disappeared into the darkness. Handed the pole back to him and he set it down to help me out.I started yelling for him to grab it before it took off again. I got out of the water to real in what I call the most ambitious minnow I've ever seen. it didn't even weigh a half a pound.it was all we caught that night. But at least we have the greatest fishing story of the whole summer.

Thank you, papaw. I drove by there yesterday, they removed the one inside the park, but the one is still by the marina. It is much close to the other end. You head the same direction from that ramp and then take the cut over at the end. And it will put you pretty close to the damn.

if you go in towards the gate of the charles mill camping area turn left just before the gate. the marina is right there. the ramp is below the marina. its free to use. those are the only two available for public use. their is one inside eagle point camping area. and the sailboat club has one. which is members only.

i clean and regrease all my own reels. Saves a lot of money. Doesnt save me any time though. lol i like to have a complete knowledge of my reels and complete confidence in them. If something messes up while im on the lake i know exactly what went wrong and what i need to do to fix it. it keeps me in a better peace of mind. when im sitting on the lake relaxing.

i use my floats to keep the bait just above the weed line. or when in small ponds. i dont use floats when drifting i prefer to let the weight drag along the bottom and use a leader to set the height.

sounds good for whole year. I think payout for biggest of each type wether it be flathead, channel, bullhead or blue. maybe like a 25 split for each. biggest of each at end of year.
