Amanda and/or I could go blue as well, if it turns out to be a blue/flathead tourney. You just better pair us up with some flathead catching fools. Cause there's a chance we could catch a 40lber, maybe even a 50lber...... but that's average for other places. spawn coming up and the blue cat bite sucks if you get a 30lber durning the spawn your doing really well,BUT there is alway a few really big fish caught during this time also,last online tournament i did i got the big fish of it with a 29lb blue.so it could be anyone game |

Our best month has typically been May. Maybe we have caught them coming off of spawn. What temps and or time do you typically relate to blue cat spawn? Pre-Post.

I believe it's around 70 like here Sean. Just a month a head of us usually being that far south.

yeah around 70 degrees last about a month here around mid june we start catching alright size fish,post spawn fish are very aggesive when the water hits around 80-90 degrees you better have pretty decent gear or it will fail

Thanks for the info Kip and Bobby. I'll have to keep an eye on the water temps this year and see how the blue's relate.

I like the ideas. My only issue is getting pics cuz I'm usually alone. Same problem I had last year.

Each Team can have there own thread, under the Tournament Topic and post all fish for the team. It would be a great attraction for guest and members to view the participation for this great cause. I think all fish should be posted over a certain weight like 7 lbs for channels 15 lbs for Blues and Flatheads just to make a great album. JMO
Can a certain fish also be used in other contest maybe one pic with a couple different control items in a picture.
