Heck yeah man! Nice lookin flatty bait! I've never really tried a big bait like bigger than a pound never any more than a few ounces really! Do they really work that well? Cat......I have personally caught a 19lb flathead on a 2lb bullhead and we run redhorse sucker's up to the biggest we can find so far 22in long is the biggest bait i have ran in a sucker and yes i got a flathead that night was 22lbs my log book say's , Also have ran 3lb carp for bait under a float and had fish inhale them i hook a fish with that carp but lost it due to it breaking my 50lb mono really wanted to see him yes big bait's will catch big fish but you 1st have to have big fish there in the area you want to fish to be able to eat that bait plus the big bait might only get hit once a week if ya fish a lot (unless your partner fall's asleep and you always get a run when he dose?) lol hope this help's .......Sniper

Duck.......I used a 12in homemade kat float with no weight and trimmed his tail fin ......He was close to sinking it a few time's but he just couldn't get that last 4in under but the fish that ate him sank it with no problem .....Hell i have seen Dave rcbbracing run 3lb carp on the bottom with the clicker and they couldn't pull the clicker on a 7000b

I know that a small carp can pull line out of a 7000, Even a big gill will, how can you tell me a 3lb carp can not take a clicker out, if that was true then i guess a 3lb channel cat is not big enought to pull clickers out either. For some reason i am thinkin your baits are not as big as you say, your answers are just not adding up...
