that's a good question............typically I would say my fishin' slows down if I know forsure they're spawning. Especially if bank fishin.
Now if fishin out of the boat I would still try like heck......maybe run and gun a little more........try to fish 8-9 anchor spots throughout the night. I would concentrate my efforts on rock outcrops that come off the bank, undercut banks, and big chunk rip-rap banks that are often found on medium and large sized rivers.
Either that or go down south where they're already coming off their beds, lol..........

I will post pics of "smokebite" once I get all the rodholders hooked up and get my motor back from getting a tune up......it's gonna be a heck of a catfishin rig, and it does about 40mph on calm water..............I'm gonna need a nice vinyl "smokebite" decal too!

It's been slow up n down the river it seems, and highwater hasn't helped any. I'm not real familiar with the Muskingum yet, but I would say they are sittin on their beds forsure. Channels I've been gettin have been big lipped and swollen heads for the last few weeks. Only caught 3 flatheads thus far out of Muskingum and they were all under 10lbs..........

cooper was a great recruiter, just couldn't win the "big one"
I can understand tressel protecting his kids, yet you can't lie to the ncaa when asked a direct question. He should of atleast suspended the kids involved with the whole mess with "violation of team rules". Told the kids to knock that crap off and the OSU would not tolerate that kind of behavior from it's student athletes.
all the sweatervest jokes aside I used to respect tressell as a coach, and still do.......how could i not.........he owned michigan for 9 years, although he wasn't the person he made everyone beleive he was in the end.

I don't know if you guys have heard but Tressels a liar and pryor and his buddies are a bunch of hoods. I heard RichRod was looking for a job, someone should notify gordon gee.
Michigan got their man in Brady Hoke and even as importantly running the D is Greg Mattison, whom both proudly wear 97' championshiop rings as they were assistants under Carr. Watch Hoke scoop up osu recruits as they renig on their commitments.............GO BLUE!!
