Thanks guys. I have a question and I'm not sure if you will understand it unless you have experienced it but here it is:
Have you ever went mushroom hunting for a day or two and noticed that every time you shut your eyes you see mushrooms. I have experienced this for several years now and I mentioned it to a friend and he has had similar experiences. We have now named this experience "Mushroom Eyes". It happens every time I blink for longer than normal, and every time I lay down after a hunt. I'm just wondering if you guys have had the same experience?

;D Yep and light stick eyes. We use floats quite often, after staring at the glow sticks for hours you begin to see it when you shut your eyes.

Congratulations on the mushrooms. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who sees them when they shut their eyes. For a while I was starting to think ducky was right, I had eaten the wrong mushrooms. ;D

Today my ecological restoration class went out to a land owners property to do some work and a few kids ended up finding yellow mushrooms the size of pop cans. I'll probably hunt again this weekend after seeing those monsters.

Found 107 more today. mostly dog peckers. Marked a spot where I could see about 10 or so more, hoping to take my father in law out tomorrow to these woods...only found 1 grey today and 2 yellows...

Thats odd, most of the snakeheads/dog peckers are dried up down here last week. I wouldn't think that being only 150 miles south would make that much difference. I bet theres a weeks difference in the mushroom seasons.

oh yeah definately...maybe a week and a half even...They are still popin up here...They just started comin up last week. And I picked very fresh ones today...Going out tomorrow...I hit pretty much the same area today that I did a couple days ago...there is alot of land there yet that I havent looked at yet...Should be able to get at least a couple hundred more out of there this weekend, and by next weekend the big yellows should be up...

This is the first year I have seen the dog peckers, greys, and yellows all up and keep on... Usually, the peckers are burned up before the yellows... rollo
