ive been hearing some reports of morels popin up. Anybody been lookin? My wife's cousin suposedly found over 100 yesterday.

My friends mom went walking on lunch break yesterday and she found 30 blacks in a half hour. She works at GE in Adams County Ohio. So they are up down here, I haven't been out to look yet. It's hard not to fish when its nice out. ;D

My brother in-law sent me a pic. the other day of a couple. I figure they are far and few still. But, who knows! Bout time the picking gets good so will the fishing. I know where I will be...rollo

Went out yesterday, between three of us in four hours we found 204. I'll post picutures sometime sunday night when I get back to school. I am also heading out tomorrow, post pics if we have a nice day. We found some that were dried out, other than that we found 200 blacks, 2 greys, and 2 yellows.

Went out today and found 208 within three and a half hours. Heres the picture of them as well. Were still finding a lot of small greys, hopefully they will come up as strong as the blacks. Attachments:

Thanks guys. It was surprising to us as well. The grays where coming up on the slopes and the blacks were on the flats. Heres a picture of a black, gray, and yellow from Friday. We also found some spikes today, they are in the above picture. Attachments:

;D, not yet! That's a pretty good idea though. I could map the distribution of mushrooms using a gps, and even the old logging trails. Maybe throw in a topographic map for reference. It could be achieved. ;D

i found 48 while mowing a yard monday nite.was mowing over little greys .then found 16 in my yard today.an little randy found 3 greys.in a yard i mow,by his grandmas house.an i got 9 blacks in the woods.still a few days a way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to you as well. Good luck to you in the next few weeks. It's been a good year. I have relatives that found shrooms in thier yard in Springfield, Ohio. (and they live inside city limits.)
