Found 104 more today...Marked 5 yellows that were fresh today...Still have alot of land to look, will be out tomorrow.

Thinkin I may take the boat to make a combo fishin/mushroomin trip to the lake. Went Friday and found a few, but I think it hurts not having spots to go that haven't already been hammered. |

The spot I look is a great spot, no one else ever looks there, and they grow EVERYWHERE there! Lots of elm trees there...This is the first year that I have ever found any grey ones thre, Im heading out there here in a few minutes. Hope to find some big yellows today...

yellows are just starting to come up in this area...We found about 20...left about 10 more to see if they will grow...not sure what the total number was that we found today, i gave them all to my father in law...

Total number today bring me up to 450 for the year so far...By next weekend we should be pickin the big yellow sponges (hopefully!)

Went out Saturday and found 292 mushrooms myself, and Amanda found 216 mushrooms. Probably the single best day we have ever had mushrooming. Heres a pictures of them. The ones I found are shown vertically and Amanda's are horizontally. Went out Sunday as well, I found 92, Amanda found 56, and my little brother found 107. So far this year we have found over 2000 between my little brother, dad, Amanda, Rylan, and myself. We only found one dog pecker that wasn't dried up, and we had to toss several yellows that were starting to mold. If I had to guess I would say that we have a little over a week left to find them down here. Thats an Ipod touch in the middle of the table for reference. Attachments:

damn thats a hellova nice batch there AGAIN!!! I took my dad out last nite and we picked about 50 or so yellows, dog peckers are still popin as well...I picked 31 myself...brings me up to 481. Im hoping that with the little bit of sunshine that we got today and what we get tomorrow that they will be up and grow some for this weekend...
